Readers Questions about Back Pain Management

There are so many conflicting views on the best back pain management, sometimes its difficult to see the wood for the trees. It can be very difficult to get to the answers.

I have a real commitment to offering my patients evidence based advice. I have done my best here to give answers that are supported by research wherever I can find it.

So....below are some questions that my readers have asked. They vary from wanting to know more about a particular type of back pain treatment. Uncertainty about the different types and causes of lower back pain. They may have read something and wondered if it was true.

I'm really sorry but I can't give specific treatment advice for individual back pain problems (it would be wrong of me to do that without meeting you and assessing the problem as everyone is different). Any advice offered here is general advice to help guide you.

I am not taking any new questions just at the moment but I hope some of the questions that others have asked may hold the answer you are looking for.
