Exercise for Back Pain - Stretching Exercises
Stretching can be a really helpful exercise for back pain - especially simple lower back pain. For a whole variety of reasons our spines become stiff sometimes and we need to practice lower back stretching exercises.

Back Stretching Exercises - flexion or forward bend
A nice easy stretch for back pain that can be done lying down on the floor or on your bed. |

| A little bit harder but a good all round stretch for the lower and mid back. |
Lower Back Extension Exercise - backward bend
| Combine this with the one above to get a nice lower back exercise workout. |

| You can't get much easier than this lower back exercise. This one can be practiced anywhere. | |
Rotation Exercise |

| This knee rolling exercise is good in the early stages of back pain (acute pain). I find it helps reduce pain and discomfort. |
